On September 9, 2025, Antonie was represented at Eurosoil in Seville, where Bob Klein Lankhorst presented on behalf of CEN/TC 444 – Environmental characterization of solid matrices.

In his presentation, he highlighted the importance of standardization for European soil data. Harmonizing methods and definitions is essential to ensure data is comparable, reliable and actionable for policy, research and field application. A crucial step toward increasing the impact of how soil health is measured and applied.

We are proud that Bob contributes in this role to the development of European standards, helping to build a stronger foundation for data-driven decisions in soil management and land use.

Around the same time, a new phase was marked with the introduction of the name Antonie, inspired by Antonie van Leeuwenhoek. A name that reflects making the invisible visible.
