Antonie and VDBorne Campus collaborate to advance insight into soil life
Antonie is working together with VDBorne Campus, a practice-driven innovation environment where agriculture, technology and knowledge development come together. In this collaboration, Antonie’s technology is applied to make soil life directly measurable and connect these insights to field-based research.
At the Campus, Antonie’s LIFE Monitor™ is used, an AI-driven microscopy technology that captures living nematodes and automatically identifies, counts, and classifies them. This provides a current and detailed view of the composition and dynamics of soil life.
By combining this data with field trials, deeper insight emerges into how soil life responds to cultivation practices and field conditions. Based on this, conclusions can be drawn about biodiversity, nutrient balance, and soil resilience.
